A Jewel-Tone Dream at Red Earth

Some weddings just stick with you—and this one is definitely one of them.

From the very beginning, this couple was incredibly kind, creative, and trusting. They came to us with beautiful taste and an openness to collaboration, giving us the freedom to design something truly custom and personal.

Instead of sticking to standard floral elements, they encouraged us to think outside the box. That trust allowed us to create custom metal pieces including a stunning polished aluminum chuppah that became a defining part of the design—adding structure, texture, and a modern edge that felt perfectly aligned with their vision.

The floral palette leaned into deep, rich jewel tones, layered thoughtfully to create depth and drama without feeling heavy. The arrangements featured all Utah-grown ingredients, chosen at peak season for color, texture, and movement—smokebush plume, specialty tulips, peonies, sweet pea, Palmer’s penstemon, alliums, eremerus and more. Inspired by mid-century modern design, the overall look felt intentional, refined, and timeless, with just the right amount of boldness.

Just before the celebration, a wild and unexpected desert windstorm rolled through, requiring some major last-minute adjustments. Our team worked closely with the fabulous planning team of Kosi Events and fellow vendors to adapt the design in real time—making sure everything stayed secure, functional, and true to the original vision.

What stood out most was the collective response. The couple, their guests, and the entire vendor team approached the change with flexibility, positivity, and grace. That calm, collaborative energy carried through the evening.

What made this wedding so memorable wasn’t just the color palette or the custom elements—it was the shared trust and ability to adapt together. When couples allow space for creative problem-solving and stay present through the unexpected, the result is something truly meaningful.

We’re so grateful to have been part of this day and to share a glimpse of it here. Scroll through the photos below to see how it all came together ✨
